Direct Power Control Based on Dead-beat Function and Extended Kalman Filter for PV Systems

In this paper, a new proposal for the implementation of well-known direct power control (DPC) technique in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems is suggested. Normally, DPC executed using look-up table procedure based on error between actual and reference values active reactive power. Thus, structure simple results fast transient behavior inner current loop (injected currents). Therefore, study, reformulated dead-beat function. formulation, voltage vector (RVV) obtained $\alpha-\beta$ frame. Consequently, switching states inverter can be sign components RVV. The suggested compared with conventional one other tables, which are intended performance enhancement. Furthermore, an extended Kalman filter (EKF) utilized to eliminate all grid-voltage sensors. Moreover, frequency proposed minimized without any need weighting factors or cost function evaluation. overall validated hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) experimental set-up schemes under different operating conditions.
